Can you integrate with Procore, Sage 300 CRE, or QuickBooks?
Yes. We connect to the systems you already run through their APIs, database access, or scheduled exports. Procore and QuickBooks Online expose APIs; older on-premise accounting such as Sage 300 CRE is usually integrated through its database or export files. Cost codes, commitments, and invoices then flow between systems instead of being re-keyed.
Do your field apps work offline?
Yes. For remote sites we build field apps that store forms, photos, inspections, and time entries locally and sync once the device is back online, with conflict handling so office and field records stay consistent. We built this pattern for an EPC client managing engineering workflows across remote sites.
How do you use AI in construction software?
Where documents are the bottleneck. Private AI models extract quantities, specs, and key terms from drawings, submittals, RFIs, and supplier quotes, and summarize daily reports. Calculations such as estimates, job cost, and change-order pricing stay as deterministic code, and a person reviews every AI-extracted value before it reaches a bid or invoice.
How long does a custom estimating or job-cost portal take?
It depends on scope and integrations. We start with a short discovery and prototype phase so estimators can validate the workflow, then ship in iterative milestones. A focused first production release covering cost codes, bids, and change orders typically comes well before the full system, so the team gets value early.
Do you work with Calgary and Alberta contractors?
Yes. Calnetic is based in downtown Calgary and has delivered software for construction and EPC companies, including a custom estimating and job-cost platform for a construction client. We also work with contractors across Canada and the United States, remotely and on site.
